ABOUT OZ

AI for intentional families.

A family becomes who it is in small moments. A promise made at dinner. A worry mentioned once. A plan agreed on across the kitchen.

Most of it disappears. Not because anyone stopped caring. Keeping track of everything just takes more than anyone has left at the end of the day.

We built Oz so no one in the family has to be the one who remembers everything.

Why we built Oz

Oz was built by Danielle and Greg Neufeld, parents of three who have spent years asking a question that sounds simple: how do you build a family on purpose?

Through The Most Important Thing, our podcast about intentional family life, we explore the ideas, practices, and experiments that help families become more like the families they intend to be.

Building Oz came out of that same obsession.

Most of what a family needs to remember is said out loud, and then it's gone. And we kept running into the same problem with AI: it only knew the context we stopped to give it.

So we built Oz for our own home first.

The family is the point.

Most technology is built for one person. Oz starts with the family.

We think technology should help families pay better attention to one another, follow through on what matters, and live more like the family they intend to be.

Bring Oz home.

We're starting with a small number of families.
